Road Trip

11:30 at night I got a text from Jake telling me he was bored and wanted to go do something. I had no idea what we would do since it was so late at night, and the previous two nights Dan, Josh, and I had been kicked out of two different parks by the cops. So I didn't really want a repeat of that one. So We stopped by the guys dorms to grab Jake and we just took off driving. We really couldn't figure out what we wanted to do. So I had the brilliant idea that we should drive to Idaho or something like that. And right then Jason called me and asked what I was up to. I told him that we couldn't figure out what to do. So We drove back to the dorms, basically ambushed Jason and went into his room to figure out what we wanted to do.
Jake thought it would be fun to go to Wendover, but that was pointless since Jason was the only one who is 21. So the next idea was to go to Wyoming, but Jason hates Wyoming, and it had been snowing like crazy there all day. Las Vegas was another choice, but are you kidding me. I had work at noon.... we would not make it there and back, plus that is so much more gas. So the next best thing was Idaho. So we stopped by Maverick gassed up and grabbed some snacks and off we went to Idaho.

It was so random and such a blast. We decided not to just go straight up the highway. We took a detour through Logan up to Preston Idaho. We stopped took pictures at the Logan temple and it was snowing like crazy.

We also stopped at the signs for both the Idaho and the Utah signs. This was the first time Jessie had ever been to Idaho. No we didn't do anything in Idaho, but at least she has been there now. It is so much fun to be in a group of friends where you can just take off and drive somewhere and have a blast doing it.

and on our way back we each took pictures with Dino the Sinclare Dinosaur.

It was so spontaneous what we all needed after a crazy week of finals and the stress that always comes with finals. I love my friends and how crazy we all can be some days. I love having friends like this that are willing to just go on crazy adventures. I can't wait for the fall when they are back. I am going to miss them over the summer for sure.

Graduation and Move-out day!

Why didn't I walk you might ask? Well that is what I am asking my self. Because I didn't know I could walk. But I am getting over the fact I couldn't walk with all of my friends, but luckily I am still going to be able to get my diploma the same time they do, since you know they just mail it to your house anyways. And if I am bored next year and feel like walking, they will allow for me too.... so who knows what the future might hold. I at least was able to get pictures with some of my better friends yesterday, so that was a good thing. It was a sad day, but a good one at the same time.

Yesterday was move-out day for a good number of my friends, this has made me sad. Dan who I am going to miss very much moved down to Provo, so luckily he isn't to far away and I have a car. Josh is going into surgery for his knee today and will be heading back to Washington, then off to serve the Lord he will go. We don't know where yet, but I will know after he gets his papers completed next month. Tomorrow morning about 4:00AM Jessica and Jake will be heading off to Northern California where they are from but they will be back after the summer for fall. So that will be good to see them again. But that is how life goes, school ends and people move on to bigger better things. It just sucks sometimes, but I know I will always survive, just remember to breath every morning when I wake up and everything will be just fine.

Pranks!

All this week I have known something was going to happen. I just had a feeling the guys were up to no good when they would talk about things behind my back. Well Sunday morning I finally was about to watch General Conference on my computer before I headed off to sing outside temple square to drowned out the protesters. I was doing my daily e-mail checks of facebook, yahoo, gmail, and hotmail when I noticed my friend Jake had posted new pictures in an album titled "Melissa's Car Ssshhhh!!!!!!!" So I quickly opened up to find these pictures.

Jacob (in the brown), Euijoon (In the white), and Dan (In the grey) were the guys behind everything.I thought it was really funny to find my car that way. And it being General Conference lots of people saw it since the guys dorms are right across the street from the Conference Center. One lady laughed when I went and was cleaning it off. I thought the whole thing was very comical. But the guys having it coming back to them. I am way excited for pay back! I will post more pictures when that happens.

Counting Down!

Only a week left in school. I am so excited, it couldn't come any faster, but the only problem is the fact that "OH NO! SCHOOL IS OUT IN A WEEK!" I have so many deadlines and papers that I need to get done. Oh dear.... I don't know how I am going to handle this. It is so stressful, but at least I know I will manage to pass my classes some how. School is such an over powering thing. I get so stressed over my classes so much, but I also stress over my social status with friends. This summer is going to suck since I am basically the only one who is still going to be in town. The closets person will be my friend Dan who is moving to Provo. That is going to be a long commute to hang out... but hopefully he gets some really cute roommates so then it will be more worth it. The last few weeks have been full of fun long nights hanging out with my friends before they all go home. Many new games have been played and things have happened no one would have thought would happen. I am so excited I have been able to make these friends and can't wait till fall for the majority of them to come back with the exception of those who will be out on their missions. I hope things work out for each one of them and I hope these are friends I can have for a long time. I love them all so much and am surprised by them daily. I freakin' love it.
